The Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc® invites you to experience an extraordinary adventure by taking part in one of the 7 events on offer from August 26 to September 1, 2024.

The Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc® - the original "queen" race: 171 km & 10,300 m D + - 2,300 runners!

"A mountain event, with many passages at altitude (> 2500m), in weather conditions that can be very difficult (night, wind, cold, rain or snow), requiring very good training, suitable equipment and a real capacity for personal autonomy. It's 6.00 pm and over 2300 of us share the same dream: to circumnavigate Mont-Blanc in less than two days. Each of us has been preparing carefully for many months.

Despite the enormity of the event, we are serene in the knowledge that almost 2000 volunteers are taking part in the same adventure, ready to offer their passion and help in a spirit of sharing and friendship. We're in for a timeless adventure!

In the moonlight, we'll rub shoulders with the Aiguille de Bionnassay and cross the Col du Bonhomme. At sunrise, we cross the Col de la Seigne and enter the magical Italian Val Veni, dominated by the Noire de Peuterey and the glaciers that descend from Mont Blanc. Then comes the Val Ferret, guarded by the Dent du Géant and the Grandes Jorasses, before finally crossing into Switzerland and savouring its carefully preserved environment. We'll have to endure the fatigue, overcome our doubts and anxieties. Some of us, having pushed our limits to the extreme, will prefer to stop, in the hope of completing the whole tour next time. The others cross Bovine and Tseppes. Then, faced with the Aiguille Verte, the vertical Drus and the majesty of Mont Blanc, they'll plunge all the way to the finish in the heart of Chamonix.

Whatever happens, we'll all meet up again on Sunday afternoon to celebrate the winners, applaud the last finishers even more and share, runners and volunteers together, our joys, our suffering and our emotions.
